Fodder Scam Case | Lalu Prasad Yadav Sentenced to 5 Years in Jail by Special CBI Court in 5th Case

A special CBI court in Ranchi on 21 February sentenced RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav to five years' imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 60 lakh on him.

The special CBI court had, on 15 February, pronounced Lalu Prasad Yadav guilty in Ranchi’s Doranda treasury case – the fifth fodder scam case he has been convicted in. The case pertains to the illegal withdrawal of Rs 139.5 crore from the Doranda treasury.
