Indian Coast Guard ship Samudra Pavak apprehends Pakistani boat

Indian Coast Guard ship Samudra Pavak on Sunday apprehended a Pakistani boat off Gujarat coast. The vessel was reportedly carrying nine crew members.

The boat along with the crew was escorted to Porbandar for an investigation.

In the wake of Indian Army’s surgical strike, states around international border areas were put on high alert over possible Pakistan revenge strike. Tension between the two countries escalated as forces of both sides exchanged fire along the border in Jammu and Kashmir.
