Onion prices have shot up to a new high. Now a KG costing more than a litre of petrol.
Costing 80 Rupees a Kg. Onions have also pushed food inflation to a three year high.
The Government has blamed crop failure as the reason for the rising onion prices but that isn't the only reason for the food inflation. Basic mismanagement and lack of anticipation by govt authorities.
