Life is limping back to normalcy in the riot hit Muzaffarnagar but in phases. Curfew has been lifted for 5 hours in the riot hit areas with shops opening for business.
But despite the temporary relief, the administration is taking no chances. Police have said that hundreds have been arrested across districts and the State government has slapped the stringent National Security Act on those charged with inciting the communal flare-up.
