As the government cheers its 1 lakh crore gamechanger Food bill the rupee is scared over its repercussions on the economy.

Indian Rupee fell to a new low of 66 against the dollar after the Lok Sabha passed the crucial bill which might put pressure on the high current account deficit.

Former finance minister Yashwant Sinha Tuesday called for early elections to bail the country out of the ongoing economic crisis.

He said a paralysis in decision-making was the main reason behind the economic mess and charged the government with having lost control over financial matters of the country.
