VHP Yatra: Calm in Ayodhya and across Uttar Pradesh

The VHP yatra seems to heading nowhere. All the noise made prior to yatra has not translated into action as the UP govt scuttled the inauguration by making more than 2000 arrests. For the people in the state in general and residents of Ayodhya in particular, it was business as usual.
The no-show prompted VHP to announce nationwide-protests. This resulted in clashes between VHP workers and police in Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Jammu and Chennai.
