Food Security Bill: Parliament to debate on Food Security Bill today

After a week gone waste in political wrangling, the National Food Security Bill is likely to get passed in Lok Sabha on Today.
Meanwhile, the window is narrowing on the monsoon session, with 4 working days left for the monsoon session to end. Congress is desperate to get the Food Security bill cleared today in the parliament.
The government has claimed that after amendments made to the bill, majority of the parties are on board. With general elections, less than a year away, no political party wants to be seen opposing the bill.
