NewsX special investigation in to the claims of alerts to the Neghalaya govt weeks before the Kandahar hijack of IC 814 has set the cat amongst the pigeons. Opposition now demands an enquiry into why and how such specific inputs were ignored . which fomented a string of terror attacks in the last decade. here's a report .

There's anger and outrage over how the state govt of Meghalaya did not respond to the alerts and failed to avert one of India's worst terror tragedies.
