Navy: Bodies have been incinerated beyond recognition

4 bodies have been found from the sunk submarine INS Sindhurakshak after 36 hours of relief effort by Navy divers.
Early this morning, navy divers found the dead bodies from the second compartment behind the conning tower. The bodies have now been sent to the naval hospital INHS Ashwini for DNA identification.
However, Navy will continue search till all bodies are found or it can say with finality that there are no more bodies to recover. Right now, their top priority is gaining access to all compartments of the mangled submarine and locating bodies. After which navy will begin its salvage operations.
