The season’s coldest day was reported in Delhi on Friday with the minimum temperature recorded at 4.2 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season’s average. According to the Northern Railway, 35 trains were cancelled while 14 were running late due to dense fog in and around Delhi. One train had to be rescheduled. The city was engulfed by dense fog with the visibility slumping to 200 metre and the humidity at 8.30 a.m was recorded at 97 percent, according to the weather office.
