'Jaitley has no public reputation to protect': Arvind Kejriwal lashes out after defamation suit
  • 5 years ago
In response to the defamation suit filed by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal filed a 2000 page reply before the Delhi High Court. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo lashed out at Jaitley, making the case between the duo even more personal. In what comes to be another controversial remark, Kejriwal said that Jaitley lacks a public character which he could defend. “The plaintiff’s (Jaitley’s) claim that he enjoys high public character is a totally frivolous and unsustainable claim. No injury of any kind has been caused to the plaintiff’s reputation as he claims. This is not a suit of injury to his private character, but his public character, ‘if at all,” the AAP leader stated in the written reply.
