News X: Biker menace turns fatal

News X: A youth who reportedly indulged in stunning near the Parliament Street was killed and another biker was critically injured after the Delhi police opened fire to stop them. The incident happened near the tri-section of Ashoka Road at around 2:00 am today.
Police sources say that as many as 30 bikers were performing dangerous stunts, when a PCR van which received a call chased them. But the bikers fled the spot. They were soon spotted by another PCR van following which they pelted stones at the cops.
Sources also claim that the police fired two rounds. One on the air and later a second one aimed at the tyre of a biker in an attempt to deflate the tyre. But since the bike had its front tyre in the air, the bullet accidentally hit Karan Pandey, the man who was the pillion rider. The man who Karan was riding pillion with, Punit sharma, was also injured.
