NewsX: Suspension of MLAs in Maharashtra

NewsX: In Maharashtra, suspension of all five MLAs for accused of allegedly assaulting a Mumbai Police official has been revoked. This after recommendations of the committee set up by Maharashtra Assembly to look into the case.
These MLAs were suspended on March 19 for allegedly assaulting an Assistant Inspector of Police Sachin Suryavanshi in the Maharashtra Assembly. The MLAs were suspended till December 31 this year. However, the committee looking into the case concluded that it was the case of mistaken identity.
