Bihar Mid-day Meal Tragedy: Death toll rises 22

NewsX: It was a meal that was meant to feed hungry children in Chhapra, Bihar. The government school Mid-Day Meal Scheme turned into a nightmare where 22 kids have lost their lives so far and almost 40 innocent children are being treated in hospital. This tragedy broke out in a massive protest in Chhapra. The opposition have called for Bandh in Saran District to protest deaths. The age of the innocent childern were between 4 and 8 years. Nitish Kumar orders for detailed investigation in the case and has announced to compensate 2 Lakh rupees to dead.
