News X: Child struck in river in Nainital

News X: A child in flood ravaged Uttarakhand who went to collect firewood in the swollen Gola river in Nainital was caught in the strong currents of the river. But he went on to be rescued safely with the help of local administration. The child had a miraculous escape from jaws of death after he got stuck in the swollen Gola river whose spate increased following rains in Uttarakhand. It took almost 5 hours for the rescue team to achieve success. Following the child's rescue he was safely handed over to his loved ones.
