West Bengal: Three rapes in 24 hours

NewsX: Despite protests across West Bengal for a tougher law to curb crime against women, there is no end to rape horror. Three shocking incidents in the less than 24 hours. First, a 24 year old differently abled woman was raped by her neighbour in a town near Kolkata. And in the second case, a 11 year old school girl was brutally murdered in North 24 Parganas. In a third shocking event, the body of a class 9 student has been recovered from the fields in Sondanga in West Bengal. The girl was missing since June 11 and the family had lodged a missing complaint. The family has accused a local youth of the crime. Police has registered a case of murder. Post mortem is yet to be conducted.
