NewsX: Infosys founder N R Narayana Murthy has returned back to the company. Murthy takes charge as board executive chairman Additional director starting today. This as K V Kamath steps down from his position as Chairman of the Board to take up the position of Lead Independent Director. Murthy will serve a 5-year tenure in infosys on a token compensation of one rupee per year. His election as a Director would be placed for the consideration of the company's shareholders in the Annual General Meeting on June 15. Remember, Murthy had stepped down from the Board to become Chairman Emeritus in 2011. He has served as company's CEO from 1981 to 2002.
