Bhullar's wife approaches German Embassy
Days after the Supreme Court upheld Devender Singh Bhullar's death sentence in 1993 Delhi bomb blast case, his wife has now knocked at the doors of the German Embassy. She was accompanied by the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee President Manjit Singh yesterday, when she met the Deputy Chief of political councilor of the German Embassy. Bhullar's wife handed over a memorandum saying the German govt is responsible for his death sentence. Bhullar was first caught in Germany travelling on a fake passsport and was deported from Germany to India. Germany opposes capital punishment. Routinely done, they would have put a condition that he would not be hanged to death, but failed to do so. Now Bhullar's wife wants Germany to intervene.
