Trouble brewing for the Congress, the UPA government's important ally, Sharad Pawar's NCP has come out in direct praise of Narendra Modi's oratory at a FICCI meeting. Party spokesperson DP Tripathi in fact said that Modi's Godhra taint is not that big and can easily be washed away with good work. Meanwhile, NewsX correspondent caught up with NCP General Secretary DP Tripathi and the leader clearly hinted at aligning with Modi's BJP. This comes as a surprise to congress as NCP is an important ally.
