J&K: Armyman found with eyes gouged

In a shocking incident an unconscious armyman, with both his eyes gouged was found in injured in Jammu and Kashmir. The soldier Rakesh Kumar Sharma was rescued by residents near Chowki Choura village , about 60 km north of Jammu . He was spotted by a passerby who informed the Chowki Chowra police post and the team rescued him. According to police Sharma was attached with 11 Rashtriya Rifles at Kishtwar and was on a leave. He had reportedly left Nowshera by bus on April 1 to join the duty. It was also learnt that Sharma had spoken to his family members from Jammu at 2 am on Wednesday. He reportedly had a dispute with a driver of a private passenger vehicle. Sharma had also informed the police that he had some argument with a village man.
