The Supreme Court withdrew the restraining order on Italian Ambassador to India Daniele Mancini, which it had imposed following Italy's decision to not send back two of its marines arrested in connection with the murder of the two Kerala fishermen. Italy, however, reversed its earlier position and sent back the two marines within the deadline that the apex court had set before they left to vote in Italy's general elections.
