BJP chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi on Wednesday stoked a controversy by putting her party's scarf around the statue of freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai in Krishna Nagar before filing her nomination, which drew sharp criticism from AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal.
