A District sub-head of the Samajwadi Party Ram Prakash Yadav has allegedly beaten up his neighbour Ramakant's family so badly that 9 of them are badly injured, three of them too serious to be treated locally and had to be referred to better equipped hospitals. The victims allege that their pleas are not heard. Ramakant the victim neighbour has threatened self immolation outside the DM's residence.
