Delhi gangrape: Fast track trial to begin today

The trial in the gangrape and murder of a 23-year-old girl in a moving bus in Delhi which was committed to sessions and proceedings in the fast track court on January 17, will commence from today that is January 21. Additional Sessions Judge Yogesh Khanna, who will be heading the fast track court, will conduct the case against the five accused.The defence counsel of an accused in the Delhi gang rape case has chosen Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu and Mathura in Uttar Pradesh as possible alternative venues for the trial.
