And while New Delhi witnessed massive protest against the gangrape, a BJP leader in Madhya Pradesh has come up with a bizarre diktat to avoid rapes. Madhya Pradesh's Agriculture Minister burnt a pile of Jeans and T-shirts claiming it is one of the prime reasons for the rapes. The minister Ram Krishan Kusmaria started this campaign in his constituency and claimed to bring a change through this. Taking a cue from the minister's idea, now the Jain society in the Damoh district have banned the girls from wearing jeans and T-shirts.
