Even as protests storm the capital, the 23 year old gangrape victim has recorded her statement before an SDM. This statement will be admissible in the court. There is chaos outside North Block in New Delhi this morning as the anger over the gangrape in the national capital has been boiling over. Earlier in the day, the police resorted to lathicharge and used water cannons on hundreds of protesters who tried to break barricades and enter New Delhi's seat of power. The police also lobbed tear-gas shells at protesters, who are out on the streets demanding safety of women after the para-medical student was gang-raped in a moving bus in Delhi on Sunday.
