Congress conspiring to trap Mulayam in CBI net: SP - NewsX

The Samajwadi Party seems intent on stepping up the heat to extract its pound of flesh from the UPA. The latest is the SP alleging that the centre was conspiring to tram Mulayam Singh Yadav in the CBI net. The SP claims this is because the party did not support FDI in retail and a bill on quota promotions. SP spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary said in Lucknow that the Centre was adopting a policy of blackmail to deal with Mulayam. He even claimed some former CBI directors had admitted to pressure on the agency to trap Mulayam. Chaudhary said, "Conspiracy is on to trap the SP supremo in the CBI net for not supporting FDI and a bill on quota in promotions. The BJP is also hand in glove on the matter."
