PM Narendra Modi reaches Japan to hold bilateral talks with Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe

Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in Osaka on Saturday and left for Kyoto where he will be received by Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

This is PM Modi's first bilateral visit outside of the subcontinent. Modi will tour Japan till the third of September and will also visit the emperor of Japan during his visit.

The trip is likely to boost ties in infrastructure, trade, defence and civil nuclear energy.
