Sonia, Cong slam BJP, say communal violence on the rise

Congress president Sonia Gandhi led an aggressive outburst by Congress MPs in Lok Sabha, demanding a discussion on communal violence and the communal violence bill. The Congress appears to be trying to force an adjournment on the issue, some of them arguing loudly as Speaker Sumitra Mahajan promised a debate later in the day. Communal incidents have been on the rise since BJP formed the Union government, Congressmen said.
