In Jammu's Udhampur district, 17 people were killed when their bus fell into a gorge. Some 65 people of a bridal party were on board the bus that was returning after a marriage when the accident took place. 2 people were killed on the spot while 5 others died after they were brought to the hospital. Of the 48 others who are injured 15 are very critical. While the bride and the groom were not on the bus, two brothers of the groom were among the injured.
