A Mumbai Court has framed charges in the Keenan-Reuben murder case in which 2 friends Keenan Santos and Reuben Fernandez were killed when they tried to save their female friends from being eve-teased. On October 20, 2011, 28-year-old Reuben Fernandez and 25-year-old Keenan Santos were attacked with choppers by a group of four, after the duo objected to their alleged acts of indecent behaviour against their women companions. Four people were arrested for murder and sexual harassment and several others were booked for rioting in the case. The victims along with five others, including three girls, had gone to a bar to have dinner. After a while, they came out of the restaurant and were standing near a pan-shop, when the incident had occurred, police had said.
