J&K: Manasbal Helibase under threat - NewsX

Terror has returned to the valley. NewsX learns from sources that the dreaded Lashkar-e-Toiba is planning to attack the Army's helibase in Manasbal, in Kashmir. This is the strategic helibase from where relief, rescue, evacuation and even counter insurgency operations are carried out. It also has the sector headquarter of Rashtriya Rifles in the same premises. This base is located about 30 kilometres from Srinagar. At first, intelligence agencies were unable to ascertain which base LeT was planning to target but now we learn that they've zeroed in on Manasbal.
