'Honour of women under threat under CM Gehlot’s govt': Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Barmer rape

Jal Shakti Minister of India Gajendra Singh Shekhawat targeted Rajasthan Government and Administration for the death of the woman who was raped and burnt alive in Barmer. “It isn’t the first time this is happening in Rajasthan. It is heartbreaking. A Dalit woman is raped in broad daylight and when she protested, she is set ablaze. The woman was kept in a hospital in the general ward without filing a complaint with the police. She died due to the lack of appropriate treatment. The honour of women is under threat under CM Gehlot’s governance. Women are afraid to leave their homes,” said Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
