J&K LeT paln to attack army helibase - NewsX

Lashkar-e-Toiba plan to attack an army helibase in Manasbal, 30 kilometres from Srinagar. Sources have confirmed to NewsX that the base is in the LeT's crosshairs and that the Lashkar-e-Toiba had conducted recees around it. The base is very important to the army as it acts as a centre for search and rescue and counter-insurgency operations. Sources say that the Lashkar militant killed in Sunday's encounter in Sopore, Urfi was key to the LeT's plans. Sources have also confirmed that this is part of a lreger plan of the Lashkar-e-toiba to conduct Fidayeen raids across Kashmir.
