Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi will be Amritsar today as of his 2-day trip to Punjab. Sources say that the main objective of the Rahul's Punjab visit is to familiarise himself with the party leaders and workers. Before this, he has visited Chhattisgarh and J and K. It comes amid speculation that Rahul will be looking to gather views about a possible successor to PCC chief Captain Amarinder Singh. All eyes are also on whether Rahul will visit the Golden temple in the light of the controversy over the Bluestar memorial.
