FDI is anti-national decision: L K Advani - NewsX

There seems to be no end to ongoing war on FDI in retail. Senior BJP leader L K Advani has hit out at the Congress by recalling its stand on FDI in retail in 2002. Citing an incident in Parliament on December 16, 2002, when NDA was in office, Advani said Congress M.P. Priya Ranjan Dasmunshi, speaking on FDI in retail then had referred to introducing FDI in retail as an anti-national decision. Advani in his blog has quoted Dashmunshi as saying, "through bureaucrats, multinational retailers are continuously putting pressure on the Government to take this anti-national decision of allowing foreign direct investment in retail trade."
