The recent violence in Azad Maidan which killed 2 people and injured at least 55 seems to have underlined the insecurities in the minds of the minority community. Fears which seem to have been further heightened at the removal of Arun Patnaik as the Mumbai commissioner of Police as well as the possible reunion of the Thackeray cousins over the hindutva card.
