Geetika Sharma suicide: Verdict on Kanda's bail today - NewsX

Former Haryana Minister Gopal Goyal Kanda continues to be on the run for the 11 th day. The Delhi High Court will deliver its verdict on his anticipatory bail plea at 4 pm today. Yesterday a Delhi Sessions Court issued a non-bailable warrant against Kanda, setting the 24th of August as the next day of hearing. This followed fresh police raids at Kanda's residence in Sirsa, in connection with the Geetika Sharma suicide case. Police are trying to trace a particular mobile number. They also took Kanda's relative named Bunty Bansal into custody. Even as the police deny they are under pressure to track down Kanda, Geetika's family is losing its patience.
