Sharad Pawar slams RR Patil for Pune blasts -- NewsX

Maharashtra Home Minister RR Patil has been in for some stick from NCP supremo Sharad Pawar for the state recording the highest number of bomb blasts in the country. Pawar said it reflected poorly on the state administration and aroused suspicions about a particular community. The trigger was Wednesday's four bomb explosions in Pune in which one person was injured. Pawar also criticized lack of proper coordination between the state intelligence wing and the law and order arm. Pawar said he had asked Patil to focus on improving the performance of the police and intelligence departments.
