Delhi: 41 children rescued from traffickers - NewsX

Forty-one children, who were being trafficked to Delhi, were rescued from Seemanchal Express at Anand Vihar railway station on Thursday morning and 21 traffickers have been arrested. The Child Welfare Committee, north-east district has ordered to lodge FIR and have booked the traffickers under sections 370 (buying or disposing of any person as slave) and 372 (selling minor for purposes of prostitution, etc) of the Indian Penal Code. The rescue operation began at midnight and went on till 4 am. The Anti-Human Trafficking Unit of Delhi Police Crime Branch and Bachpan Bachao Andolan (BBA), NGO conducted the operation.
