Two malnourished sisters, who did not step out of their house for the past six years, were today rescued by their relatives and neighbours and got admitted to a hospital here. Mamta Gupta (30), who is divorced and has a teenaged son, and her sister Neerja (28) were taken to Ambedkar hospital where they are undergoing treatment. Their condition is stated to be serious. According to neighbours and relatives, Mamta and Neerja stay with their 65 year-old mother and Mamta's 13-year-old son, who is studying in Class IX, in their house.
