On the last day of campaigning for the eighth phase of Lok Sabha elections, parties are leaving no stone unturned to garner as many votes. Out of the 64 constituencies that will go to polls on May 7, Amethi in Uttar Pradesh will be one of the most keenly watched seats.
Amethi is witnessing a triangular battle with Congress candidate Rahul Gandhi, BJP's Smriti Irani and AAP's Kumar Vishwas in the fray. The constituency has been a patrimonial seat of the Gandhi family and Congress President Sonia Gandhi's daughter Priyanka has been campaigning aggressively for the last few days.
