Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Thursday rubbished BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's reported statement that she was like his daughter. Reacting to media reports on public broadcaster Doordarshan allegedly editing Modi's interview where he talked about her, Priyanka told Headlines Today that she was former prime minister late Rajiv Gandhi's daughter. "I am Rajiv Gandhi's daughter," Priyanka said angrily.

Meanwhile, Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram, on being questioned about Modi's reported statement on Priyanka, said he was happy that the BJP leader thought like that.
