Delhi sees hot Tuesday , Wednesday to be similar

It was a hot Tuesday in the national capital, with the maximum temperature recorded at 39.5 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average. Wednesday is expected to be similar. "The sky will be mainly clear throughout the day," said an official of the India Meteorological Department. Tuesday's minimum temperature was three notches below average at 21 degrees Celsius.

Wednesday's maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 40 degrees and 22 degrees Celsius respectively. Sunday was hot with the maximum temperature recorded at 38.3 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season. The minimum settled three notches below the season's average at 21.5 degrees Celsius.
