Delhi University Student's Union (DUSU) has been on a five-day-long hunger-strike to demand that online registration for students is made free of cost. Protesting student leaders were finally able to convince the university administration into considering their demands. The students were protesting at the Faculty of Arts, North Campus, for a 'free and transparent' admission process. Two student union members had to be hospitalised on the fifth day of the strike. The student leaders were protesting against the faulty online registration system and demanded that the university rollback the fee of Rs 100 and return the amount to the students. The students also undertook a signature campaign and put up posters and slogans at the protest venue.
