Narendra Modi evades question on Nitish Kumar - NewsX

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi evaded questions on Nitish Kumar. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has put a spanner by saying that NDA's nominee for the top post should be somebody with "secular credentials". Rift in the NDA over Narendra Modi widened with the JD(U) threatening to walk out of the alliance if a "fanatic face" is projected as NDA's Prime Ministerial candidate. BJP asserted that no one can give a fatwa on who is secular and joining the issue, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat wondered why a 'Hinduwadi' should not become the Prime Minister. Narendra Modi was seen as a Prime Ministerial candidate from BJP.
