Arvind Kejriwal reaches Varanasi, to start campaign today
  • 5 years ago
Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday arrived in the holy city for a month-long campaign and was greeted with posters that accused him of being a 'deserter', an apparent reference to his resignation as Delhi Chief Minister within 49 days of taking charge.

Kejriwal, who will fight BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi from Varanasi Lok Sabha seat, reached the city on Tuesday morning by train and was welcomed by his supporters who had gathered at Cantt railway station in Varanasi in large numbers.
