Gurgaon BMW case: Main accused gets bail - NewsX

The suspected driver of the speeding BMW, involved in the horrific hit and run in Gurgaon last week, Suraj Sherawat has gotten bail within hours of surrendering in court. Suraj is believed to have been behind the wheels of the BMW and was driving at a speed of well over a 100 KM/ hour, when he slammed into an Indigo. The collision instantly claimed the lives of 2 months pregnant Kshama Chopra, and her driver. The accident also left her family, including her husband with debilitating injuries. Yesterday, after increasing public scrutiny over its ostensible inaction in the case, the Gurgaon police had finally sought an arrest warrant for Suraj.
