The Sadananda Gowda government in Karnataka plunged into deep trouble on Saturday with seven senior ministers loyal to former Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa submitting their resignations. Even as the news is coming that Gowda is likely to reach Delhi to meet the party leadership, sources in the Yeddyurappa camp said more MLAs are likely to offer their resignations. The rebels met at Yeddyurappa's Race Course Road residence. Surprisingly they gave their resignations to Yeddyurappa instead of the CM and authorized him to take any decision on the future course of action to protect their interests.
