Hillary Clinton to meet Mamata today - NewsX

U.S Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is in India... on a 3 day tight schedule visit. Clinton landed in Kolkata last evening.. and is to meet the West Bengal Chief Minister today. The meeting comes in the backdrop of the Left parties cautioning that Clinton should not interfere in India's internal affairs. Clinton will be in New Delhi on Monday for meetings on a range of bilateral issues with the central leadership.By alighting at Kolkata's Netaji Subhash Airport, Hillary Clinton acknowledging the shift in political power in India, from the centre to the state level.Meeting Mamata, only hours after talks with the Bangladeshi PM Sheikh Hasina, speculation is rife that the Teesta Water sharing treaty is likely to also come up during talks.
